This beauty produces white to creamy ivory blooms, which grow 8-10" across. The Fleurel Dinnerplate will grow to reach approximately 42" in height and is a great addition to a freshly cut floral bouquet. Or grow it in a moonlight garden for a dramatic effect on those summer nights spent sitting on the patio. After first growth, pinch out the center growing tip right above the 3rd full set of leaves for the large dinner plate dahlias. This will create a stronger, more manageable plant with more blooms. It will also make the plant less top-heavy to the point where you need staking.
